Terms of Service

By using Moving Union (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What we are

Moving Union is a lead-generation and matching service. We are not a moving company, motor carrier, or broker. We do not perform moves, provide binding quotes, or arrange transportation. We connect you with independent moving companies that we vet against our published 5-point standard.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements.

No guarantee of outcome

“Union Verified” means a mover passed our 5-point screen at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of price, availability, or performance. You are responsible for your own due diligence, including confirming a mover's license and insurance and obtaining a written estimate before your move. You can verify any interstate mover at fmcsa.dot.gov.

Your submissions & consent

You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to share the contact details you submit. By submitting the matching form, you consent to be contacted as described in that form, our Consent to Contact (TCPA) Disclosure, and our Partner Disclosure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or unauthorized information.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass any mover.
• Scrape, copy, or resell the Service's content without permission.
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service or its security.

Intellectual property

The Service's content, design, and marks are owned by Moving Union or its licensors. Company names and trademarks referenced on editorial pages belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Third-party movers & links

Any move is a transaction solely between you and the moving company you choose. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for a mover's acts, omissions, quotes, or services. The Service may link to third-party sites (including our partner sites); we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moving Union is not liable for the acts, omissions, quotes, or services of any moving company you engage, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Moving Union harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Moving Union operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
