- Why publish the roster if you match me with movers?
- Transparency. Marketplaces keep their mover list a black box. Here the roster is public: every member carrier is listed by name with its move types, service area, and USDOT disclosure, and when you request a match you're connected with named, Union-Verified movers only.
- How does a mover get into the directory?
- It applies, then clears the published 5-point standard: active USDOT or state operating authority, current liability and cargo insurance, a reviewed FMCSA and BBB complaint record, genuine review quality, and real years in business. Members pay for membership and for the leads we send, homeowners never pay us.
- Can I verify a carrier's credentials myself?
- Yes, and you should. You can verify any carrier's authority at FMCSA's SAFER database (safer.fmcsa.dot.gov) using the USDOT number shown on its profile. We run that check as part of the standard, but the record is public and worth confirming before you book.
- Are these paid placements?
- Members pay for membership and leads, which we disclose plainly. But nobody can pay to skip the standard, and Featured placement never overrides the match logic: fit for your move comes first.
